Meet The Author
Beverly Baldwin was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta Georgia. With a passion for children and people, Beverly currently works as an elementary school teacher in the metro Atlanta area. After losing her father to prostate cancer in 2012, Beverly became an advocate for bringing awareness to the disease. She volunteers countless hours to organizations such as Georgia Prostate Cancer Coalition, Georgia Urology, Prostaware, and Georgia C.O.R.E. Beverly also voluntters her time at health fairs, 5K runs, board meetings, and prostate screenings.
Beverly became a self-published author of her book, Memories of a Daughter’s Last Cry, in 2018. Beverly finished the first draft of her book on a family trip to Disney World in Orlando Florida. As a huge Disney fanatic, Beverly is quoted as saying, “Disney World created a magical space for me to think, be creative, and be free within my own thoughts. It is truly the happiest place on Earth!".
In her spare time, Beverly enjoys traveling, attending concerts, live shows, and spending time with family and friends.

I really enjoyed this book! I felt like I was a part of the whole experience! The details were so vivid you would be laughing and crying with the family. There’s is no denying the love experienced between a daughter and her father! Her father’s battle with prostate cancer was definitely an eye opening situation and I’m grateful Ms. Baldwin shared those cherished moments with us. I would definitely read this book again!
